Our partners
Together with its seven partner organizations, the WAVE II project promotes democracy education and European values in the practice of youth social work. The aim is to develop suitable democracy education offers for and with young people - especially those with a migration background - within the framework of youth social work and to support specialists and youth social work providers with innovative methods of democracy education.
Youth Migration Service KJA Cologne | Catholic Youth Agency
We are a non-profit and recognised provider of independent youth welfare and active in thecity of Cologne and the Rhein-Erft district. The Catholic Youth Agency (KJA) Cologne wants to show young people future-oriented life perspectives and support themindividually in shaping their lives. Our clients are the young people. We base our actionson them, regardless of their origin, social status, education and religion.An essential andimportant institution for this project are our two youth migration services in Cologne and in the municipality of Rhein-Erft-Kreis.The jmd Köln is an integration centre for youngpeople aged 12-27 with a migration background and their families. We offer counsellingand support for all integration-related questions and challenges. This includes linguistic, educational, vocational and social integration. Our goal is the social participation of all young people, regardless of gender, origin and religious affiliation.

National Association Catholic Youth Socialwork (BAG KJS)
The Bundesarbeitsgemeinschaft Katholische Jugendsozialarbeit (BAG KJS) e.V. is the association of Catholic federal organizations and state associations in Germany. We are committed to the interests of young people at a national level, particularly those who are socially disadvantaged. Its aim is to give young people access to all key areas of life and to promote their personal development. The BAG KJS works together with church, state, politics, business and associations, participates in social discourse and develops solutions for current challenges. The focus is on professional youth social work, migration, housing, school social work as well as research, quality development and political lobbying.

ANOLF Marche Odv - Ancona, Italy
ANOLF Marche is a non-profit, non-political organization with the aim of promoting an inclusive society that recognizes the diversity of a multicultural world. ANOLF is committed to respecting and promoting ethnic, cultural and religious diversity. Its activities focus on issues related to immigration and migration. It supports entire communities in solving problems related to entry and residence in Italy and in asserting their right to work, housing and education through special information, advice and support services at regional level. Within the WAVE II project, ANOLF together with COOSS will carry out work package 2 to define an informal educational approach and a method for teaching (European) democracy and values. This will be done through the active participation of youth workers, migrant organizations and local groups in workshops, the effectiveness of which will be tested in practical laboratories, with the ultimate goal of developing results that raise civic awareness of the project objectives.

Initiative for Development IDC (Belgrade, Serbia)
Association of citizens Initiative for Development and Cooperation from Serbia (IDC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to social and economic inclusion of vulnerable groups and protection of their human rights. IDC has extensive experience in housing projects, trainings of the adults, development of community based social services, humanitarian aid provision, provision of medical assistance for migrants, asylum seekers, capacity building and awareness raising activities, policy development and analysis. Previously, IDC provided direct aid to migrants, refugees and asylum seekers during crises and through this project will continue to work on their empowerment and integration within the framework of European values.

COOSS Marche Onlus S.c.p.a. (Ancona, Italy)
COOSS is a private, non-profit organization that provides educational, outreach and social services to disadvantaged people throughout the Marche region. The services are mainly aimed at elderly, disabled and mentally impaired people, either at home or in residential facilities. COOSS also offers initial reception services for asylum seekers and refugees, legal and health support, housing, Italian courses and social integration initiatives. As part of the Wave II project, COOSS will involve youth workers in identifying effective pedagogical methods to communicate EU values to young people and engage them in experimental labs to strengthen young people's understanding of these core values.
