On May 16 Casa delle Culture in Ancona hosted a meaningful and inspiring training event for educators, youth workers, practitioners and volunteers who work with young people.
The day focused on promoting informal educational methods to share and convey European values through creativity, participation and interpersonal relationships.
In the morning, participants explored the theme of diversity through theatre activities led by an expert from a theatre company in Jesi with extensive experience in educational and social theatre. Through movement, expression and collective reflection, theatre became a powerful tool for discussing equality, inclusion and the value of diversity.
In the afternoon, together with the young people from Telepazze, participants depicted their own dignity through inner and outer self-portraits. Colours, words, gestures, stories and emotions filled the space, creating moments of genuine sharing and personal discovery.
It was a day rich in encounters, creativity and inspiration — a reminder that non-formal education can truly build bridges, strengthen communities and bring European values to life.
